Complete with aisle and separate heavy oak entry doors for the bride to enter and the groom separately. Use the formal rooms, including the black and white marble entrance hall complete with 4 marble pillars, the Portrait Gallery which leads to the wedding room and music room.

Enjoy southerly views over the beautifully kept formal gardens and parkland. In addition there is a sweeping Italian stone staircase with balcony on which to frame some lovely wedding day photographs or if you prefer, in any one of the stunning formal rooms.

Through Eaglesfield, 6 miles from Gretna Green, drive up one of Springkell's five drives, through half a mile of parkland and woodland and over the Kirtle River. Approaching Springkell from the West, park and walk in over the marble floored porch with the family crest in the stained glass windows.

Everything can be arranged for you, from accommodation to flowers and your dining requirements.

Springkell is fully licensed to host Civil, Religious, and Humanist wedding ceremonies, same sex Civil Partnerships ceremonies, and wedding blessings, both inside the house and in the gardens.

Fabulous Wedding Venue!

"Dave and I were married at Springkell on 29 January 2015 - what a fabulous venue for a 'white wedding' - not sure how James managed to order the snow for us too!! It was brilliant!

From the day we first went to see Springkell, James and his team could not have been more helpful - nothing was a problem! We opted for canapés, choose our own menu and evening buffet - the food was amazing! All our guests were very complimentary about both the venue and the food - in fact 'best wedding ever' was quoted on many occasions!

The venue is formal, yet so homely - from the actual wedding ceremony, to the wedding reception and the evening disco - it was all so relaxed! The guests were able to mingle around the mansion house and the staff could not have been more friendly and helpful!

We also had two Shih Tzu dogs as part of the wedding party - this was not a problem and in fact staff and guests just fell in love with them!

I would certainly recommend Springkell as a wedding venue - it was just such an amazing day!
